Mindfulness Meditation

There are many times in our lives when we may experience stress and anxiety. It may accompany a time of illness or a busy and pressurised time at work; or you may be struggling to manage a work-life balance, cope with exams or interviews. Whatever the reason it can sometimes help to mindfully take a step back and look at what is happening.
This course is based on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, and written material from the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, Bangor University.
Using various methods the course focuses on integrating mindfulness-based learning into daily life.
The course, based in Poundbury, Dorchester, is one to one for one hour each week (weekday evenings) over 8 weeks and costs £330 (includes course manual and CD's).
